Recent scientific research has proven the ancient wisdom of balancing periods of eating and not eating is the cornerstone to health. While other eating techniques involve constant restriction and constant hunger, time restricted eating allows one to eat guilt free during the eating window. This is a game changer - it allows you to reestablish eating with gusto and not guilt.
The Joy Centers six week program is designed to provide rigorous tracking and inspirational interactions to get you on the eating pattern that works for you. We attack changing the eating pattern from all angles: physical, mental, emotional and willpower. We combine daily tracking, daily cohort calls and a communication cadence that will build your health acumen.
Each week of the program covers a topic for the entire week to allow time to learn and process. Week one begins with understanding the basics the two energy systems the body has for physical vitality and health: digestive energy and stored energy. This drivers of these energy systems are insulin and ketones - which respond to food or lack of food. This concept is critical to reclaiming the understanding of when to eat and how to heal your body. Moreover, only when we allow our bodies to utilize the stored energy (typically after 12-16 hours of no caloric intake) that we can lose excess fat and trigger the human house cleaning system, called autophagy.
